Sweet Scripture Sunday....

Red, the most beautiful color in the World?

<><>
Ms Betty over at BettyjCrowe-throughmybackdoor.blogspot.com
posted about using the color red in her home.
I think every home needs a little touch of red.
Regardless of what your predominant
decor color may be,
 red just makes things pop!

The color red is everywhere in creation.  It is apparent the color red
is a favorite of our Lord's too.

Red birds, red apples, red cherries, red flowers.......
There is even red Velvet cake.....Yum!

Yes, the color red is a favorite of mine!
You will always see it somewhere in my home.

but it also carries a special place in my heart.
Why?
Because of the blood that Jesus shed for me on the cross.

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ
 to all who believe.
There is no difference,
for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,
and are justified freely by his grace through
the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God presented him as a sacrafice of atonement,
through faith
in his blood.

Romans 3:22-25

Yes, I do believe Red is a beautiful color!

Blessings!

Patty

  3. I had never thought of the color red like that before, ever...now I am not one who is drawn to red at all, but I do have a few things that are red, and now they will mean something more to me as I pass by them. Thank you for the awakening!

  7. I love red as well and have it woven in and around my home. Had not thought of the correlation between decorating our earthly home with the color of the thing that makes our heavenly home possible. Great post.

    1. Shanda, I live in London which is about 20 minutes south of Mt Vernon. If you were traveling North I-75 you would take the Livingston exit to get to my house. It is the exit directly after the two Mt Vernon exits. It is so exciting to find folks who are Ky related. It is a small world!

  10. We just redid our room in red! My hubby loves it just like his late mom did! Your post was beautiful! When I read about people who are non believers I wonder how they will feel when they meet Our Lord. If He does not exist why did He give His own blood for us? It is something to ponder in todays wicked world! I am glad I am His child! Blessings, Anne
