A tisket, a tasket....I have pretty eggs for my basket.

While browsing in the "addictive" world of Pinterest,
I saw some beautiful decoupaged eggs.
These are perfect for Spring/Easter Decorating.
I thought I would try my own spin for this creative idea.

I used:
Regular plastic Easter eggs.
Scrap booking Paper.
 Material torn into strips.
Mod Podge.
Paint Brush

Be prepared to get your hands sticky.

For the decoupaged Eggs......
I cut the paper into several small pieces.
Using the mod podge,
I begin to paste the cut pieces on the eggs.
Be patient......

When you have covered the egg completely,
coat the entire egg with Mod Podge.
Allow it to dry......
Display them in a lovely basket.

I love how these turned out.
Look close.....
Can you see the names on the eggs?

These were done in a black toile paper.

I also wrapped several in material.
I tore the material into long, thin strips.
I hot glued the end and starting wrapping.
You may need to use the hot glue randomly to hold the material into place.
These were much easier than the paper ones.
No sticky hands...
Be sure to hot glue the end.....

I love the look of the ragged edge on the material.
Here they are........

The ones below I bought at Hobby Lobby.
Half price I might add.......
They are done in a paper that looks like a brown paper sack.
No cutting, tearing or gluing.
Just open the bag.
Plop them into a basket with grass.....
Done.

They look a basket of fresh brown eggs
taken right out of the nest.
Very Prim or Farmhouse decor.

Wherever you are today....
Let your creative juices flow........

Blessings!
