Sweet Sunday Scripture...

Genesis 8:22

English Standard Version (ESV)
22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

Can you imagine Noah and his family along with all the animals who were saved after the flood walking off the ark and seeing a desolate world.  They did not begin to rebuild or sow and prepare....No, the First thing done in the new world was an act of worship.

They build an altar and offer a sacrafice to the Lord....which the bible states , "The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every indication of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done....."

What an awesome promise....
not only is the beautiful rainbow that we see in the sky from time to time a promise from the Lord that He would never destroy this earth with flood but so are the changing seasons....

We recognize the change of seasons as time for the Harvest and rest and life to the earth
BUT
in the changing of the Seasons
is also a Bible Promise to us.........

God graciously has declared he never would drown the world again. "While the earth remains, and man upon it, there shall be summer and winter".
WOW!

It is plain that this earth is not to remain always. But as long as it does remain,  and time continues and seasons come and go.
Let us remember God's promise and enjoy the beauty of the season upon us.....

Fall Blessings to You!
