GROW YOUR BLOG........

Welcome to the Party.......

This is my party surprise face....:)
Just wanted you to know how excited I am you came to visit....

Yep, that me....
Patty.....
I live in the beautiful bluegrass state of Kentucky....

I love, love, love to blog about the things that make me happy......
I love to count my blessings........
In My home...
In My Garden....
In My family......
Finding treasures as I junk around......
My ministry opportunities.......
and I love to slip in a beautiful scripture from God's Word...
After all,
It is life to me.....

As of late,
I am in the middle of yet another remodel....
Yes, me and my hubby love to make old homes into things of beauty.....

From this......

To this.....

and now we are working on this beautiful old farmhouse....

We just moved from the Mountains of Kentucky
to the rolling hills and beautiful pasture land
Of Kentucky.......

and Here she is........
Our new project.......
She is a beauty from a distance...
but needs lots of TLC.....
See more here at our Farmhouse makeover:

She sits on 3 acres of nothing but pure Kentucky joy!

So these days around my house there are lots of stacks of stuff.....

Baskets....
Pictures....
Plates....
All waiting for the perfect place........

and a lot of this.......

Yes that is paint and a brush rolled up in an old grocery bag...
It helps keep the brush soft until the next project......
and right now......
There are lots of  "next projects"........

There are a few places that seem to be coming together........

a few beautiful vignettes....you might say...

As you can see I love Farmhouse decor...
with a little prim...
and a little Bling sometimes too.....
What does that make me a
 "farmhouse prim blinger"....
lol....

I am so excited about meeting new friends......
and I am looking forward to visiting with many of you....
Come on lets Grow Together.........
in the Second annual
"Grow Your Blog"
Party.....
Applause and cheers!

Blessings!

Patty

  9. Well Patty! i am visiting from Grow your Blog, and i too love the mountains and have a wonderful cabin in the ouachita mountains of oklahoma. Will be your newest follower and will look forward to all that you are going to do with your new project. My husband and I built our cabin from scratch, so not much remodeling there but have had plenty of paint brushes in my hands. Will look forward to getting to know you, and have fun at this party.

  11. Wow, what ambitious projects you and your husband take one. The transformations are lovely.

I'll have to explore some of your older posts and see what you are up to.

Thanks for dropping by and checking out my blog. I visited your lovely state several years ago to go to visit Paducah and then wished I had gone during the quilt show time...maybe another year. Those green rolling hills and winding rivers stay in my memory.

  34. Hello neighbor, I'm a Vicki helper as well and come to visit...love your party face! Your new home is beautiful and would love to find something like that...or a brick rustic ranch...so I can sell, move, buy, relocate. Since you're a Christian, you're a praying woman, as God brings it to mind, would you please keep me in prayer? I loved visiting your blog...peaceful, serene, calm but I know that's Jesus and not the paint brush -lol-. Take care, stay true and see you on the other side if not before. God bless the work of your hands and heart. Sandra
