The warmer temps we are having these days
has urged me outside...
looking at all the outside projects that we need to begin...
to complete.......
More work......

It is hard to find time for posting.....
The busyness has taken away my inspiration....

One of the things I love about visiting other blogs
is they seem to "Inspire" me........
 with wonderful decorating idea.....

To Inspire......
  1.  To fill (someone) with the urge
  2. or ability to do or feel something,
esp. to do something creative.

Synonyms:

Stimulate, motivate, encourage
move, stir, energize,
influence

I think my "Inspire...ation" for my home has been a little off these days.....

In the past 10 years we have remodeled 3 different style homes....

Remodel:
To change the structure or form of something...

I AM TIRED!
A little Frustrated.......
DEFINITELY "UNINSPIRED"!

I need someone.....
Something....
 to "INSPIRE" me......

Or
Perhaps....
A vacation...
Or
Little men who come out
while we are fast asleep
and
do all the work.....
Leaving me with carefree days...
Yes...
It is storybook fantasy....
I can dream can't I?

I will trudge on....
completing one job at a time....
feeling as if my
"Inspire...ation"....
Is a little off....

Meanwhile....
I could use a boost....
Possibly a push......
I need beautiful pictures.....
Great ideas.......
I need "INSPIRE...ATION"

I Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another
and build one another up,
just as you are doing.

So come on girls......
Help a gal out.....
Inspirational Blessings Needed!

  1. I like your inspiration. You inspire me to be a better person with every word and picture you post. So don't be so hard on yourself. Just be you. Write what you feel and who cares if the photos are perfect. I actually love what you were inspired to do today. The green colors are great in this post and the star is right up my alley!

  2. Have you ever read the book... The Spirit of Loveliness by Emilie Barnes? IF not, I hope you can get your hands on this particular book. It might "help" to change your life...in this area. :) I LOVE my copy...it's so wonderful.

I would have other book suggestions if you'd like...

  3. :) Motivation and inspiration can be so fickle at times can't it? Keep pushing, I know you will get it done and get it done beautifully.

  4. Hang in there!
    2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (NIV)

  5. Good morning Patty and you aren't alone.
My last post was like yours - just nothing grand to post about but I decided that we just need to come on and say HI no matter how dull the post may seem....just to know our 'friends' are out there and still thinking of US is a great feeling.
I loved your post today and how beautifully you pulled it together...such a great inspiration you are my friend.
    Blessings and HAPPY EASTER

  6. Inspiration comes best to me when I'm quiet. I will sometimes sit and stare and think - and sometimes take notes on what pops into my head and heart. Kind of like what you've done with this post! Sending blessings for a greatly inspired day, Patty.

  7. Be encouraged! It seems like that is a "normal" way of feeling right when spring arrives. We look around and see the overwhelming tasks at hand (at least I do) and think that nothing will ever get accomplished. For me, the whole world seems dirty this time of year. Mud, dirty snow, garbage on the roads, grass that has not quite turned green. Then there is the house that desperatly needs a deep clean :( and you wonder if it will look beautiful again. You will be inspired as the days go by, I just know it!
Take each day as they come Patty, and allow the Lord to direct your steps. He will. :)

    Joy! Debbie

  8. Well, I would be the last one to burst your bubble, BUT there are NO little men going to finish your work!lol NOW, I am uninspired too. I can't get into the house stuff and it turned cold yesterday and today. We will get there eventually. 3 houses in 10 years, are a lot of houses. No wonder you are tired. Take your time and remember Roam wasn't built in a day.(At least that is what my Mother always said) Loved the post as usual.

  9. I know what you mean. This time of year I am in my flower garden and do not get in my house much. I need some minions to clean and do projects.

  10. I've kind of learned to go with the ebb and flow of my creativity and energy levels. Of course, there is always work to do no matter how you feel; it just needs to get done. But I think that when we are resting or dreaming or thinking, we are really "doing" something. We need these breaks to let the creativity percolate, so to speak. Then one day we feel a burst of energy and do it! Anyhow, that's what I do. Even the Lord rested from His work. Blessings to you this Easter, Patty.

  11. I know the feeling! I told my daughter today that I really need a vacation. Nothing fancy, just a change of scenery, a change of pace, someone else cooking.... I am looking forward to getting outside and working in the garden. Beautiful flowers always inspire me. Hope you have a Blessed Easter weekend.

  12. So much to be said and to share with Easter coming! Philippians 4:8...one of my all time favorite verses...Dwell on whatever is lovely, noble....there are times I wish I had more time to share and blog and then there are times I just don't have the energy. Share about what you love...sometimes the simply little things are best! A single flower can inspire, a pretty dish, or a even the view out a window. Happy Easter and many blessings to your family! We serve a RISEN LORD!

  13. Hi Patty!

It's so hard to get inspired, especially when the skies are cloudy and the wind is blowing! I don't know what it's like in your neck of the woods, but it's very UN-inspiring here! I'm trying to get some inspiration too - I always feel better when I am able to get outdoors and get some sunshine - read a good book - pray - cuddle a baby, or a puppy... ;), and just have some quite time! A vacation is always inspiring, even a road trip for a day or two; a change is as good as a rest!

    Easter blessings to you!!

    Hugs,
    Barb

  14. I'd so much rather be outside than in the house doing things that need to get done. I've really slacked up on my chores. I won't send you a boost or a push, but I am sending a hug! Hope you had a blessed Easter and a great week ahead.

  15. it seems like everyday we need inspiration that we always want to create something new. Normally I watched specific movie that could encourage me but mostly is time with the Lord when I am biking in the town - I am talking to God, singing and seeing everything around me it will inspire me somehow.
    :)
    Thanks for the scripture!
    Blessing to you

  16. Hi Patty! I know how you feel. The little annoyances in my life right now are not very inspiring. I've been slowly visiting blogs and Pinterest hoping to get my groove back....

  17. Hello Patty! I just came back here, to check in on you. Haven't heard anything in awhile from you (online) -- and so, I thought I would see what you're up to.

I'm reading all your comments... what fun!! You have a lot of hope shared and readers here who completely love and encourage you. THAT IS pure INSPIRATION right there!! At least for me and my opinion. The day I get 16+ comments only happens when I'm doing a giveaway or something. Listen... I just want to encourage you - YOU are really blessed...I know you know that.

    Blessings on your day..
