Sweet Scripture Sunday!!!
Blessings from my side of the sky to yours!
As I looked out past my back yard the other evening, this is what I saw. I quickly ran in and got my camera and took this picture. I was reminded of the trustworthiness of our Lord. His unfailing Love is all around us........simply priceless!
The Trustworthiness of the Lord.
Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies,
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
O lord, you preserve both man and beast.
How priceless is your unfailing love!
Both high and low among men
find refuge in the shadow of your wings;
They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delight,
for with you is the fountain of life;
In your light we see light.
Psalm 35: 5-9-NIV
May you be blessed as we enter into this week.
Blessings from My side of the sky to Yours!

Sweet Scripture Sunday!!!
Friday was my last day as Director of the Homeless shelter. As I sit here today in my home, while the rain is pouring down,I catch myself thinking....
how quickly life can change.
I have thought about our friends; Jeff, Mary Lou, Emily, Will and of course, Sam. How it seemed only yesterday that Sam was running around the Halls of Horse Creek Baptist Church as a toddler and how only a few weeks ago, at the age of 17, we celebrated Sam's life with a funeral. Without a doubt, one of the best worship services I have had the pleasure to be part of.
(read Sam's story at: www.cheaperthantherapyquilting.blogspot.com)
I look outside at my little garden at how the plants are taking a beating from the rainfall,
yet they still stand.......
and choose to yield a crop,
that I get to enjoy.
I think of how much I will be able to accomplish now that I am home.....
I will be able to go through "things"......
throw away "things".....
organize "things"....
Yes, God is good and has blessed me with many "things".
I am thinking mostly about change and how the old saying goes,
"here today and gone tomorrow"!
How quickly life can change.
I cannot help but wonder, what will be the next "season" God has for me? I am reminded of Ecclesiastes chapter 3.
A TIME FOR EVERYTHING
There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to uproot
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and a time to refrain,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What does the worker gain form his toil? I have seen the burden God has laid upon men. He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Yes, as we walk through this life, we see much change or experience many "seasons". Whatever comes our way; it is all about what we allow God to do with it. I choose to allow God to do something beautiful!
How about you?
Have a joyous and wonderful Day!
Blessings!
Patty
