As you enter my front door
you will see a small sign hanging on a old farm chair....
Such a small word with a powerful meaning......
It is a reminder to me
TO ALWAYS......
let my Words,
my actions
my life
- TO INSPIRE.........
TO affect, guide, or arouse by divine influence.
- As in the Bible inspires me with Words of life......
- and promises which are true!
- I love to share them here......
and hopefully inspire you.....
TO INSPIRE......
TO INSPIRE............
To fill with enlivening or exalting emotion.
A great post/story that inspires our hearts with joy!
TO INSPIRE.........
To stimulate to action;
motivate......
I was inspired to try something new...
a new color...
a new recipe...
or to read a book or two.....
To start a new project...
Maybe finish an old one.....
Here in blog land the word INSPIRE comes to life....
through all the great décor....
Seeing all the beautiful homes.....
Reading the informative and encouraging posts....
YES.....
I get inspired!
What inspires you?
Who inspires you?
Have you inspired someone lately.....?
Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how we may spur one another
on toward love and good deeds,
Be Inspired!
BLESSINGS!
on toward love and good deeds,
Be Inspired!
BLESSINGS!
Patty, you are so right. Inspire is a powerful word. I love the sign.
ReplyDeleteEvening Patty, Oh, I love to be inspired! Seeing beautiful pics, vignettes, or listening to a person speak on something that touches my soul.....reading the word~~~What inspiration!! But I agree, the best inspiration in life is being an inspiration to others.....that is a desire of my heart. YOU are an inspiration! Blessings~~~Roxie
ReplyDeleteMay I "inspire" you to consider joining up with the 31 days (for the month of October)... or even just a Photography Challenge...
ReplyDeleteSee my blog for details... if nothing else... you can pray for me that I remain inspired to hang in there and finish well or at least... the best as possible. My best! FOR HIM!!

I'm often inspired through reading blogs... there are so many things I see here in blogland that I want to create, and books I want to read and food I want to make. I'm often inspired by pinterest too... so many projects to make!

Visiting from Spiritual Sundays
Patty you inspire me and this post was so inspiring! I wonder too, do I do anything to inspire someone else. I love every post you do but this is one of my favorites. You have inspired me to take inventory of "Me"
ReplyDeleteThank you
it is a lovely word and how nice to be reminded as you come and go.
ReplyDeleteHey girlie, sorry that I'm just finding time to stop by. I love the simple white chair with the basket. I found 4 chairs for $5 each at the flea market that I ran in and out of Sunday. They are the old wooden folding ones. I'll be sharing soon. Take care my friend. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, I just LOVE the way you decorate!! Your home looks so warm and inviting, and I dearly love the primitives, of course. :) I seem to be inspired by the mountains...they just draw me closer to God somehow. And my dear husband and son continually inspire me to keep trying, to keep going, to keep believing. I could never praise God enough for the two of them and for the dear blessing they are to me...my Aaron and Hur, holding up my hands in the battles I face. So happy to visit with you today..it's been a while since I've had a chance to stop here. God bless you. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is nice. At work they gave us small, polished rocks with a single word on it. We got to pick our word and I chose Strength. I still have it on my desk to remind me to be strong in faith, in my convictions, etc.
ReplyDeleteinspiring!
ReplyDeleteBlessings 2 u,

You have inspired me today to think of many who have blessed and encouraged me along life's way! I think of how hard my grandmother worked when she was my age, and yet had time to sew for us girls! Blessings to you.
ReplyDeletePatty,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to stop by and wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and Happy new year!
May the blessings of Christmas be in your hearts always!
Pat

Hi Patty, Just wanted to say Hi and I pray that everything is OK. I just met you and I miss seeing your posts. Praying for God's strength and peace for you right now. Diane
ReplyDeleteHey there Miss Patty-Pat. :) I hope things are going well with you & yours. I miss yer face!! I don't get to blog hop like I used to and honestly, it's all I can do to keep my own blog from going moldy. Haha! I did start back, but on WordPress with a blog early this year. Recently some of the ladies in our Reunion Group have started a blog together and I'm sure you'd enjoy visiting there as we get into a routine of posting. We've JUST started it, so it's brand-spankin' new and I got the honor (or maybe it was a punishment, I'm not sure--HAHA!) of writing the first post, so right now, there's just my rambling on there. Anyhow it's here: http://www.hearttohearttoo.blogspot.com and my new place is here: http://www.gottagetagrip.wordpress.com Again, I hope life is good with you and your family. Hope to "see" you online soon! Much love, Geannie
ReplyDeletePatty, just checking on you.. hope and pray all is well. Miss your posts! Blessings to you... -Tammy
