A Friend Loves at all Times....
Proverbs 17:17a
This past week my Bible study group was treated to
a Mary Kay Make-up Party....
Since it was Valentine's Week....
I went all out with pink and red....
Pink heart cookies...
Pink heart shaped cherry flavored marshmallows....
Mini Red Velvet cupcakes...
Pink Valentines...(made by me)
One of my dearest friends is a Mary Kay Consultant....
She treated the ladies to facials...
and makeup.....
It was so wonderful for them....
A real treat.....
All of these ladies have become true friends to me....
In Proverbs 17a...
The scripture tells us that a
"true friend" loves at all times....
Love here pertains to agape love.......
an unconditional, sacrificial love......
FRIEND
There is a vast difference between
knowing someone well and being a true Friend.
The greatest evidence of genuine friendship is loyalty
(Loving "at all times")
To many people are fair-weathered friends.
A friend is available to help in times of distress or personal struggles.
I am blessed to have these beautiful women as friends...
True biblical friends.....
I hope I can always be the kind of true friend
the Bible encourages us to be.....
BLESSINGS!
PATTY

Hi Patty. It's nice to meet you. I'm glad you found Spiritual Sundays and chose to share with us. A Mary Kay party would be special and even more so with the Valentine theme. I had a friend many years ago (probably about 30 or 35) who sold Mary Kay. I really liked their products but haven't purchased any since that time. I especially liked their pink theme. It's my favorite color. I also agree that friends are some of God's greatest blessings in our lives.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Charlotte
