It's Even Sweeter on Monday.....scripture that is.....

I love mixing textures these days.....

Glass, wood and metals....
old and new....
worn and shiny
and ohhhhh the colors......

They just seem to compliment each other.....

I love putting things together that normally would not go with each other......
or where you would normally expect them to be......

dishes in baskets and boxes....

old wooden spoons and crocks...

And so it is with the body of Christ......
God created each of us
with a special and specific purpose in mind

All of us uniquely different
But at the same time we need each other...
We compliment each other....

When we come together in unity as the body of Christ....
The church......
Our differences become beautiful decor in the eyes of God....

Romans 12:3-5
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you:
Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought,
but rather think of yourself with sober judgment,
in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
4 Just as each of us has one body with many members,
and these members do not all have the same function,
5 so in Christ we who are many form one body,
and each member belongs to all the others.

Happy Decorating Blessings to you!

PATTY

  11. I enjoyed your post today. Patty! Thanks for visiting me and I'd be happy for you to use the illustration about "labels". I thought you could also ask the ladies what were the most popular name brand labels when they were teens. My awesome grandmother made all my clothes back then, but silly me, I wanted something with a label in it :)
