Fall is in the air.....
It is a crisp 34 degrees this morning here in Kentucky...
My flowers are fading away.............
They are mainly Bird food at this point....
I took some time yesterday to pull my fox tail
and asparagus ferns into the basement..
To protect them from the cold temps.
I cut them back and let them sit in a safe place until Spring...
I cut them back and let them sit in a safe place until Spring...
I then water and fertilize them....
and they come back to life....
and they come back to life....
Yes, the Season is changing.....
as are many things around us....
Regardless of what tomorrow brings......
and who thinks they may be in control.....
I am thankful God is in control!
and HE does not "shut-down".
Ever......
There may be times of purning....
Times of rest....
Times of refreshing.....
The beauty of the changing Season is a wonderful reminder
of His constant Care....

Daniel 2:21
21 He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.
May you know the blessing of His care this week!
BLESSINGS!

I very much enjoyed your post today, Patty. Was just thinking this morning, even in times of change and transition, God is still working! Thank you for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteLovely post and a positive thought that those ruling over us can be done away with and he can put someone else in there. What a place we are right now in our history, but its wonderful to know that God is the same through it all and the one really in charge. We all need seasons in our life to be pruned, to rest so when its time to shine, we shine brighter. Happy Sunday to you!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! I alway

ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful post Patty. We are home and had a wonderful night. He ate a half cup of potato and chicken broth. Slept all night and went out this morning. He is very weak, but took one of his meds and now we wait an hour for food and the rest. I pray he eats and drinks.
ReplyDeleteI love the different seasons! And I love this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to decide if I want to bring in all my plants too. I think I decided on bringing in just two or three.
Hope you have a wonderful evening!
God is always at work...mindful of the little things.
