Phillipians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I am feeling a little anxious these days....
I have been ministering to a young women who is pregnant
and in drug recovery...
On Monday she will be giving birth to this little one.......
She has decided for adoption...
So many changes happening in her life...
She needs your prayers......
Please pray for the courage she needs to carry through with adoption.
Easy labor so the temptation for pain meds will be lessened..
A Healthy baby...
For peace about her decision
and strength to continue on the path to full recovery
For the adoptive family....
Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Oh by the way,
She gave her life to the Lord this past week.....
I believe great things are ahead....
She is reading and studying her Bible...
We talk each day and pray together...
Please join me on Monday in prayer for this young woman...
I know I can always depend on you...
The blog family that prays together stays together......
Prayer Blessings!
Patty
Lovely sunday darling...love and blessings from me...x !
ReplyDeletePraise God! Jesus has worked this out perfectly. I wish I could be there to see the adoptive parents faces when they see the baby for the first time. The love that enters the room at that time is all Jesus. I'll be praying.
ReplyDeleteHello Patty,
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you have taken this young person under your wing. There will be lots of prayers going out for her and her child. There will be some very grateful parents receiving this special child. How blessed they will be.
hugs

Patti,
ReplyDeleteI will certainly be praying.
This is a scary time for the young girl and also for the adoptive family. I think this is the part that scares my baby girl about adoption. She's so afraid of losing a child she has chosen to love before hand and losing it. It takes much faith on both parties. Prayers for you all!

Hi Patty, What a wonderful post. I will pray for your friend and God's direction to show her the way. What a blessing you are in your ministry to her. God has truly shown favor upon you and given you a heart that blesses.
ReplyDeleteYou touch hearts my friend and I am sure the new parents will be blessed too.
Hugs
Hi Patty!
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for the sweet lady and her new baby...that all goes according to God's plan and that she will have a peace about her decision to give the baby up...what a self-less act it is. I know the adoptive parents must be so grateful and I'm sure have been praying about their new baby! So glad you were placed in the Mom's life to help her come to know the Lord! Two births-what a blessing!!

ReplyDeleteHi, Patty! So happy you stopped over at my blog, so I could find yours and meet you! It looks like we have so much in common, including a love for primitives!! So thankful our paths crossed today. Thank you for the wonderful encouragement you left behind for me. It was so needed and so appreciated! I trust your friend will have the courage and strength she needs during this trying time, and may God grant you all you need to continue to minister to her. God is able! Love to you, Cheryl
ReplyDeleteJust read this. Was it a boy or a girl?
ReplyDeletePraise God for her salvation and her gift to her child.
I am getting to know some of the ladies from a halfway ministry for ladies who have given their lives to the Lord in or just out of prison. Except for Jesus, there go I.
Blessings,
Laura of Harvest Lane Cottage
I'll be thinking of this young gal and keeping her in prayer.. and you, as you minister her and encourage her along the way.
