Look what I am doing.....

Yes, it is still gloomy and cold here in good ole Kentucky.  The snow is melting so everything is just plain muddy.  Yuck!!!!

Today, I was feeling a little blue and blahzey (is that even a word?).  So, my sweet husband and I decided to make a few visits to some ladies in our church who have been recovering from surgery.  I got all cleaned up and ready, but, no one was home.  After a few calls, we found out they both had follow-up appointments today.  We ended up a WalMart.  I talked my husband into buying two of my favorite magazines. I also talked him into coming home to make some of his world famous white chocolate fudge............YAY!  I cannot think of any better way to beat the Winter blues.

What two magazines, you may ask?

The "Taste of Home" and "The Country Sampler" Magazine, of course.

The Taste of Home magazine is all about recipes made with ground beef.

They all look so yummy and simple.  I like simple!

The Country Sampler will be full of Spring ideas.  I don't know about you, but I could use a touch of Spring in my life right now.

Look at those yellow cabinets!  I am so exited to see what else lies inside the pages of this little ray of sunshine.
What am I doing today?......................

I will cuddle up in front of the fireplace, wrapped all up in one of my quilts and look at the pages of the magazines and  dream, dream, dream!!!

Oh by the way.........................................
here is a look at the white chocolate fudge...................

Until next time......enjoy your day and remember to count your blessings.  There is always a little sunshine somewhere if we just look for it.

Blessings!!

Patty

  10. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Please feel free to return! I love yours. It is so pretty and I agree that we have things in common. In fact, when I came to your blog I felt at home. :) I do not eat choco, but DO eat white chocolate. Your husband's fudge looks so good. Does he share recipes?
