I know I could win the "World's Worse Blogger" Award....
If there was one....
Definitely a nominee.....
I have noticed my followers number is going down instead of up....
My posts are few and far between....
Friends are saying...."Where are you?'
and...
"We miss you"....
(Love those friends....)
BUT....
Things with this new house have just gotten the best of my time....
Oh, she is a beauty from far off....
but up close and personal...
she has been lots and lots and lots of work....
SO....
Please do not give up on me...
Lots of posts to come...
Many new changes....
I need my Blog Buddies!!!!!
I have lots to share....
We are beginning to see things a little differently around here....
The kitchen before..
We tore it all out.....
oh boy, was it a job?
YES!!!!
This is just a small sample of changes....
At my back door. Wallpaper gone...Yes!
Bead board up...Yes!
and my quirky coat rack at the back doors..
Love It!
This is more of the wall.......
I bought the long plate rack with the pegs at the Vendors Mall for $20.00
I have so much white I thought it needed some Wood tones...
- The flowers are fresh from my yard..
- The little lady that lived here had such beautiful flowers..
- I have not had the opportunity to work in the flower beds....
- so...
- I am just cutting and enjoying...
More pics of flowers to come...
My scripture thought for today...
"All things work for the good
to them who love the Lord
and are called according to his Purpose...."
Romans 8:28
(Typed from memory so it is a mix of several versions I am sure...)
We have had several offers on our home that is for sell...
Please pray that we sell it soon.
(two mortgages is getting burdensome)
We have an offer on the table but the house must have
proof of being "for sale" for 6 months.
(FHA loan of some type)
We have had it up for sale by owner....
but did not advertise...
The realtor has had it for 4 months....
She is trying to work on this for us...
I know that in all this....
God is working things out for His glory...
and working in me too..
Thanks for stopping by
and Don't give up on me yet!
Blessings!
Patty
Patty I tried to e-mail you and it couldn't be delivered. That is a pretty house. You will have it where you want it in no time. Thanks for the prayers. My baby has had a downward turn. We are praying and know we have a God who can perform miracles. We have seen them. BTW I have lost followers too. Several. It may just be blogger.
ReplyDeleteHi Patty!
ReplyDeleteI try to pop over and see how things are going. I know you are busy... your views and visits will pick up, no worries. I'm hoping and praying for you previous home to sell. I know you'll do wonders with this new house too.
I must say, I had to laugh at what you wrote: (Typed from memory so it is a mix of several versions I am sure...)
years ago, a Pastor from the pulpit told me (Us, the congregation) "You need to learn scripture word for word, if you're going to quote it-- otherwise, you are defenseless against the enemy."
Now, me being a new christian at the time made a point to learn scripture verbatim after that...the pastor moved on, I moved on and the next church used a different version of text...still God's word, only a different version. But I still grew in the word and in the LORD. The scripture began to get jumbled up in my mind. I was so worried that I was doing a disservice to the word of God...I felt defeated at times when the scripture didn't come to mind. Then one day it occurred to me... God looks at my heart and He knows that I know HIS word. He also knows that I DON'T KNOW HEBREW OR GREEK!!! so if my verses are jumbled between KJ and NAS... so be it. As long as my heart and intent is pure.
Does that leave me without accountability? No!
He commands us to
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth." ~2 Timothy 2:15~ (my verse for the week...again!) So I study...though sometimes it comes out a mixed version...it is never a mixed meaning. :)
have a great week. Pat

ReplyDeleteGod Bless you Patty and your family. We will keep you in our prayers. Have a great day, Trisha
ReplyDeleteHey Patty so good to hear from you! A new house can really keep you busy, especially if there's a lot of work to be done. I love your funky coat rack, so cute! It has to be hard having two houses at the same time so I pray your other house will sell quick! :)
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear from you again! I would probably beat you out for the World's Worst Blogger award. I do understand when life gets so busy. LOVE your new home and what you've been able to do so far. And nothing better than flowers to welcome you. Will be praying with you that your house will sell soon. Such emotional turmoil when there are bites and nibbles!!!!
