I know Christmas has long passed,
but
I just had to post these pics of time spent with my Grands
making Christmas cookies.
Sydney the teacher!
Kamden the Determined!
Abby enjoying the fruits of her labor!
Yes, any time I Spend with my Grands is a busy, rowdy
and rambunctious but fun time
Which usually leaves me worn out with lots of cleaning to do
BUT
I am reminded of this truth from the word.
Psalm 127 3-5 (Nas)
Behold, children are a gift of the Lord;
the fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one's youth.
How blessed is the man whose quiver
is full of them;
Take to time to enjoy all the (blessings) children around you!
Blessings!
Patty
Hi Patty,
ReplyDeleteOh, making Christmas cookis with the grandkids sounds like fun :) :)...and a mess, but way more fun, for sure :) :) I'm sure you got to eat quite a few along the way, too :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
so sweet! You can always clean, but the years you will never get back! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog! I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeletePrecious memories! It's those things they will remember forever and continue as a tradition with their families some day!

Okay Patty, now I feel the need to head back to my kitchen today and make some sugar cookies! ;) That frosting sure looks good. You are so lucky to have such eager little helpers. I have my hubby and 21 year old son. No little helpers yet... Only eager eaters! LOL Your photos make me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures surely made me smile. The last photo is my favorite. Abby certainly looks happy with "the fruits of her labor." :)

How fun! I love to bake cookies with the Grandkids. :)
ReplyDeletePatty how cute!Abbey looks like her Grandmother. I made cookies with all of mine and this Christmas Andrew and I made them. My granddaughter Beth always wanted to do something "pecial" and it was make cookies. That is something we say all the time now, and for Christmas she gave me an expensive gift and I fussed. Her reply was "I wanted to do something "pecial) Memories are wonderful.
